About Springforth School

About Springforth

At Springforth, we ensure that each student is provided a healthy, safe, learning environment and a balanced and contextual international curriculum to cultivate a well-rounded learning experience. As a Cambridge Accredited school and Ghana Education Service (GES) registered school, our comprehensive academic programme aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for higher education and a thriving work career. Our rigorous academic programme consists of quality teaching and instruction in a multicultural environment and is complemented by a rich variety of extra-curricular and sport activities to provide a broad and balanced curriculum. We offer learning experiences that foster each child’s intellectual, social, physical, emotional and spiritual development.

As a Christian school, our faith and values are at the heart of the School, which are integrated into teaching and learning as well as exemplified in everyday interactions between staff and students. Such qualities as love and respect, kindness, sharing, honesty, integrity and cultural tolerance are some of the Christian values we promote in our school community.

Much of our success is due to the diligence of our dedicated staff, our hard working students and supportive parents. We seek to prepare our children for a life-long love of learning and a mindset of care and service to others. Our goal is to maintain a loving and nurturing environment where children are happy and exude a positive spirit and believe that anything and everything is possible!
We look forward to a mutually rewarding relationship with you and your family.

Our History

Springforth Community School was founded in June 2006 by two American working mothers who recognize the need for quality, affordable education set at an international standard in the large and multicultural community of East Legon. Springforth has experienced significant growth moving from a single school building to an enclosed four building campus over the past fifteen years. Springforth now offers crèche through secondary school education and a full range of extra-curricular activities. Starting in 2022, Springforth Academy now offers a comprehensive Junior and High School education that follows the Cambridge International Curriculum and Ghana Education Service Curriculum.
