The curriculum at SFCS is based on the Cambridge Primary curriculum framework for the core subjects of English/English as a Second Language (ESL), Mathematics and Science. At the JHS 1 -3 Level, students may choose to follow the Ghana Education Service (G.E.S) and take the B.E.C.E, or follow the Cambridge Curriculum.
We do integrate international and local Ghanaian educational content into the English National Curriculum so that it’s suitable for our diverse student body.
Early phonetic and literacy skills are developed using innovative reading methods such as the Jolly Phonics and Oxford Press reading schemes. Thorough Jolly phonics, students develop early reading and writing skills by learning all 42 phonetic sounds of the English Language and blending and segmenting sounds rather than simply learning the alphabet.
Teaching an learning is differentiated according to the ability and multisensory, catering for visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning styles. In addition, an intervention program is organised for individual students with learning challenges in various subject areas.
All our students have weekly Bible study lessons as well as a weekly chapel assembly. Children of all faiths are welcomed to participate.
SFCS welcomes families of all faiths and does nor discriminate against religion or ethnicity and encourages creativity, positive social interaction and teamwork.
English is the language of instruction at Springforth. French is taught as a compulsory foreign language for students in Reception Primary and Secondary School.
Our Science and ICT Lab are stocked with resources and computers that will enhance hands-on learning experiences for students.
Africa Library Project donated 1,000 books to enrich our Library resources.

The Springforth Evening School runs from 4pm-6pm, Mon -Friday to care for students whose parents cannot pick them up at the normal school closing time. Springforth staff supervise and help students with their homework, and engage them in fun enrichment activities. We provide a healthy snack and a safe happy classroom environment for students until pick up. Sign up for this service on a weekly, monthly or termly basis.
Springforth is committed to providing scholarship to students with demonstrated financial needs. We visit low-income schools in the Adjiringanor community in Accra-Ghana, and identify underprivileged students who can benefit from our mission.
