Springforth Community Scholarship Program

In Ghana, around 243,000 children and adolescents are not in school. As a result of a lack of funds, many academically promising boys and girls, find themselves in overcrowded, under resourced schools that cannot meet their needs.

About the Programme

Many academically promising boys and girls, find themselves in overcrowded, under resourced schools that cannot meet their needs We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of financial means.

265,188 children and adolescents are not in school as of 2020, with Only 30% of children enrolled in private primary schools. This can greatly be attributed to high cost of school fees, uniforms and school equipment.

Springforth is committed to providing scholarship to students with demonstrated financial needs. We visit low-income schools in the Adjiringanor community in Accra-Ghana, and identify underprivileged students who can benefit from our mission.

Educate a child

Scholarships cover the cost of tuition, book and resources fees, and lunch. This year, our target is to raise a total of $20,000 (GH¢226,000).

We welcome monthly contributions of $125, $75 or $50 towards a child’s education. ($1 = GH¢11.50)
