Sponsors Needed for Springforth Scholarship Programme

Springforth Community School currently runs a scholarship programme for underprivileged students.

In Ghana, where Springforth serves 125 children, as many as 243,000 are not enrolled in school. Many children find themselves in overcrowded, under-resourced schools. For these students, school is not just about their future; their primary concern is survival.

Springforth Community School is a non-profit organization whose mission is “to be a first-class Christian multicultural educational institution in Ghana stimulating children of all ability levels to excellence and higher education.” In addition to providing high-quality education to our students, Springforth is actively dedicated to serving the wider community.

In that spirit, we have developed the SPRINGFORTH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME. Because at Springforth we know that receiving a quality education can be a passport to a better life. We would like to offer low-income, urban children, in the Adjiringanor community access to quality education, for 2021
school year. Our goal is to provide educational opportunities that can transform the lives of children by partially or fully covering the costs of their tuition, books, and lunch.

SPRINGFORTH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME RECIPIENT

Scholarship Programme

Annie is one of the children who has benefited from the SPRINGFORTH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME. Annie came to Springforth in 2016 as a Scholarship Recipient from Adjiringanor Basic School. Annie’s parents could not afford for her to attend private school, but SFCS recognized her potential and wanted to help. With the help of kind donors, we granted her a full
scholarship from Grade 6 to Grade 9. This past year, Annie graduated from Junior High School at Springforth and performed well in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E). She recently gained admission to one of her top school choices, West Africa Senior High School (WASS).

The SPRINGFORTH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM offers more than just academic scholarships. The scholarship programme provides academic scholarships, B.E.C.E Test Preparation, Senior High School Application Support, tutoring, counselling, access to extracurricular activities, and career guidance. We
reach out to public schools in the community to identify underprivileged children who can benefit from our mission. We also accept scholarship applications and offer prospective students the opportunity to apply for a scholarship based on a set of rigorous selection criteria.grossisti online cinesi amazon kobayashi san chi no maid dragon online مصاريف مدرسة ise الدولية easton hockey jersey custom weiß schwarzer pullover adidas 400×300 szőnyeg convertitore usb singstar كيبورد مستر ysl borsa grigia Italy принтер за текстил цена pop kult lascia che nevichi testo zecchino d oro tent rental los angeles fumagalli asciugamani prezzi amazon gyproc levyn katkaisu

Sponsorship Request

To continue fulfilling the dreams of children like Annie, we currently need sponsors for 14 students. Please help us make a difference in the life of a child in need by making a donation toward the gift of quality education. Children will benefit from small class sizes, ample school supplies, textbooks,
new uniforms and computers, and not least of all, healthy meals and snacks throughout their school day to help them thrive and stay focused. We value your contribution to sponsoring the education of talented students whose lives are transformed by the opportunity.

How You Can Support the Scholarship Programme

We want to raise $20,000 (115,000 GHS) in total to serve 14 children through the SPRINGFORTH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME. That is just under $1500 (8,700 GHS) per student for the year to cover the cost
of tuition, book and resource fees, and meals for the school year. You can help us by:

  1. Sponsoring a student for one year by donating $1,500 (8,700 GHS)
  2. Making a cash donation of any amount that is meaningful to you to the SPRINGFORTH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
  3. Spreading the word about the Scholarship programme to your friends and family and help us raise funds
